Guns For Crops - or - Money For...Whatever!

According to several different internet news outlets (Right Wing News, Breitbart.com, Washington Times) the U.S. Agriculture Department has solicited the United States government to be able to provide its department with guns, ammo and full body armour. The specific requests asks for “ambidextrous safety, semiautomatic or 2-round trigger group, Tritium night sights front and rear, rails for attachment of flashlight (front under fore-group) and scope (top rear), stock collapsible or folding,” as well as, "30-round capacity” magazines. In addition they also want “oversized trigger guard(s) for gloved operation.”

Oh yeah...gotta protect those artichoke crops...But seriously, it would be nice to know where that real money (or the guns and ammo that is supposedly being purchased) was really being funneled to.

Remember the movie "Independence Day"? It may have been a work of fiction but it had its truthful moments. Like this one -- President Whitmore (referring to the secret underground bunker at Area 51) - "I don't understand, where does all this come from? How do you get funding for something like this?" Julius Levinson - "What? You don't actually think they spend $20,000 on a hammer, $30,000 on a toilet seat....do you?"

So my question is - Do you actually believe the government is buying these weapons and ammo for the Agriculture Department or really spending that money on these items at all?

Want to know what is really going on with this -- then Follow The Money Trail and see where it really leads.

Laying the Foundation for Fascism

This is what happens in a P.C. world full of Nazi police minded and fearful people.

Thank god these fascists weren't around when I was a kid. We played hangman, cowboys and indians, cops and robbers - fake shooting it up all the time. Somehow we turned out to be normal all-around folk

What are we going to be turning out with this kind of behavior toward our children today? I can tell you. A people ripe for takeover from a manipulative, tyrannical, messiah-like mass murderer who can mesmerize those who haven't learned to think for themselves or who were denied or punished repeatedly just for having some innocent fun when they were a kid.

The Truth About Benghazi - Stefan Molyneux

The shocking facts behind the September 11 2012 Al Qaeda attack on the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya. The Washington cover-up, the American arms sales to Islamic extremists, the deep history of the Arab Spring that turned to an American foreign policy winter of discontent and disaster.

His articles and essays have been published on popular libertarian websites including LewRockwell.com, antiwar.com, and Strike The Root. He's also self-published seven non-fiction books, publicly spoken at major conferences, and has been a guest on television, radio, and podcasts to discuss his views. Senate Baking Committee Passes Legislation to Phase-Out Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac

A lot of news coming out of Washington, D.C. lately is focused on the gridlock and partisan sniping in Congress, but there was a bit of good news that I wanted to share with you.

The Senate Banking Committee, on which I serve, today passed bipartisan legislation to protect taxpayers from future economic downturns and shrink the government’s role in our housing finance system. This legislation is so important because in 2008 American taxpayers were forced to bailout government-supported Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to the tune of approximately $187 billion. A lot has changed since the financial crisis started, but taxpayers are still on the hook for propping up these two housing finance giants.

That’s why I joined several of my colleagues last year in crafting legislation that winds down Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, preserves the 30-year fixed rate mortgage, and ensures access to the mortgage market for small lenders and the rural residents they serve. The bill that the Banking Committee passed today includes all of these important principles.

Now that the committee has passed this legislation with bipartisan support, it’s crucial that the full Senate acts.

The Tea Party Not As Weak As Thought

Before I begin I want to make it clear that as a moderate to conservative leaning thinker I am neither pro or con Tea Party. I view all political parties as necessary evils that tend to become roadblocks to negotiation and much needed compromise on Capitol Hill, the White House and throughout the State legislatures. While all political parties generally begin with good intentions and lofty ideas; over time, with the amassing of more political clout money and power, they soon forget the people they represent and become centrally focused on maintaining that power for their own sustenance.

That being said I do wish to address a trend I had been noticing across the print, network and cable news channels for months prior to this most recent mid-term election and that was the rallying cry from those on the left and within the established right that the Tea Party’s influence in both Washington D.C. and State Houses across the nation was waning significantly.

If one thing the elections yesterday proved just the opposite is the case. In the battle for the U.S. Senate the GOP is up nine possible seats in 2016 giving them a one seat edge over the Democrats while the House jumps up a full sixteen seats in favor of the GOP if those numbers hold in the general election a little more than two years from now.

Across the States the GOP picked up seven governor races. What is most significant about these numbers isn’t that the GOP was the big winner in this recent primary election but the fact that the overwhelming majority of GOP wins were made by Tea Party candidates.

The biggest coup was grabbed in Nebraska with the Tea Party candidate for Senator there breaking against all the barriers and winning big over several established Republican choices. Senate hopeful Ben Sasse walked away from last night’s vote with a clear mandate from Nebraskans' to go to Washington and clearly voice the Tea Party agenda -- smaller government, lower taxes, protection of 1st, 2nd and 4th Amendment rights, less government intrusion on privacy and the removal of ObamaCare.

Overall, with a strong showing of greater than 56% wins in the 2014 election it would appear those pundits hailing the end of the strength and influence of the Tea Party were a bit premature in their prognostications. All this even though those on the left, middle and right opposing Tea Party candidates outspent them 5 to 1.

If the 2016 election were to be held today The Tea Party would become a major player in both the U.S. House and Senate, and who knows, perhaps even The White House.

Yes - I'm Pro Israel

If you have been following my blog for any length of time then it should come as no surprise to learn that -- Yes, absolutely yes, I am pro Israel and damn proud to say so. No, absolutely no, Israel since 1948 has not been an occupied land, but one returned to its rightful owner - Jews, or Hebrews if you prefer.

Before May 1948 Israel was an occupied land for a little over 2000 years. Over the course of that two millennia of history beginning in the year 63 BCE the Land, rightly called Eretz Yisrael (Land of Israel), has been occupied, but never owned, by the Romans, Arab Muslims, the European Crusaders, the Ottoman Empire and finally the British until 14 May 1948 when the State of Israel was officially REBORN and one year later recognized internationally as a member of the United Nations by majority vote that included Yay votes from the UN Security Council led by the United States, Russia, Great Britain and France. Of great importance is the fact that from its birth over 4000 years ago, regardless of who occupied the Land there has always been a Jewish presence to ensure the holding of its lasting ancestral deed first granted to the patriarch and matriarch of the Jewish people Abraham and Sarah.

So, for all those who would stoop to the lie of calling Israeli Jews occupiers I would counter with the true and familiar phrase that "You Can’t Be Occupiers Of A Land That Is and Has Been Already Yours!"

Ancient and Modern Symbols in Israel showing a Jewish Majority Presence and Rule Now and Centuries Before the Common Era (CE):

Hebrew Inscribed Potsherd from Jerusalem, City of David, dated 1000 BCE (over 3000 years old) - the Oldest Jewish Temple Mount Artifact Found to Date:

Hebrew Inscribed Ceramic Bowl Dated to Over 2700 years old:

The Remains of the Biblical Israelites' Tabernacle at site of ancient Shilo. The Tabernacle precedes the Temples and dates to the period between the conquest of the Land of Israel by Joshua and the rise of King David - this would include the time of the Biblical Samuel and Saul - making this Jewish (Not Arab or Palestinian) site nearly 3500 years old.

The Land of Israel rightfully belongs to the Jewish/Hebrew peoples - the ancestral children of Abraham/Sarah/Isaac/Jacob and his twelve sons. Not the Arab offspring of Ishmael and not to those manufactured Arab castoffs now called the Palestinians. Ishmael was granted more lands than his brother Isaac yet Ishmael's ancestors, after nearly 4000 years, still envies and covets the small portion granted to his brothers - the Jews, and today his offspring the Arabs are using a small group of their own, wrongly called Palestinians (a wordplay on the Roman word for Philistines) as pawns in their unrelenting desire to seize control of that small patch of Jewish Promised Land and the destruction of their brothers - the Jews.

I have news for those who wish the demise of the Jews and the Jewish State known as Eretz Yisrael - those Arab plans for destruction will not happen to the Jews but will fall upon their own heads.

That, you can take to the bank.

Reminder - Lest We Forget

It is now 69-years after the Second World War in Europe ended. In memory of the 6 million Jews, 20 million Russians, 10 Million Christians and 1,900 Catholic priests and countless others in France, Germany and throughout Eastern Europe who were murdered, massacred, raped, burned, starved and humiliated by the command of one demented man.

Now, more than ever, it's imperative to make sure the world never forgets, Because there are others who would like to do it again.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!
